While geographically a part of the Hawaiian chain, administratively/politically, Midway is not a part of the Hawaiian state....Wake is not a part of the chain, either....Both are east of the dateline....Wake at 166 degrees and Midway at 177 degrees....Both are unincorporated territories, meaning they are not considered to be future states of the United States, and are governed by a military entity....Wake?

IMO it’s impossible to predict what is or isn’t of benefit to us at this point. Too many variables.
