Didn't know where else to go with this, but looks like UT playing footsie with TJ Storment. Really hope he doesn't wind up there. Have no hard feelings about him leaving, but that would change if he wound up in Austin playing vs the Good Guys.

The fact that they are after Storment tells you why they won't be contenders for a National Title any time soon. They kill it in recruiting pretty much everywhere but OL.
Agree generally- Guess it remains to be seen if Sark can change that, but not a good sign for them IMO when the sons of that UT legacy from FW decided against UT. Name escapes me at the moment but he was a good one, and they appear to have major potential.
This would seem like a good move for them as a stopgap though. He looked like he played pretty well for us the 2nd half of the season.
Would just really suck for UT to be yet one more team with all Gary's signals.

ironic thing is the boys signed to play at bama because dad was especially impressed by the coaching of the new texas offensive line coach.
if there was no early signing date they might not have enrolled at bama

The 8th Grade OC at Wunderlich Intermediate School in Klein ISD has Gary’s signals. Not worried about UT having them.

It’s kinda crazy that he will have 3 seasons of eligibility remaining. He was pretty much Tech’s best qb but couldn’t stay healthy in a slight breeze. Next season may be very rough for Tech.

will be interesting to see what happens at quarterback for tech and if cumbie is truly allowed to run the offense or if the hc's connection with colombi dictates who gets the minutes.
they did sign morton who was highly thought of and looks like the type of quarterback we saw back in the days when sonny was playing at tech, but is he ready and again will cumbie truly be allowed to run his offense with a hc who has an offensive background

Talent Gap between OU and everyone else has always been huge but it is starting to look ridiculous.
Nothing wrong with 2nd. in Big 12 until Riley leaves.
The only thing we need to figure out is how to score to beat out Texas and ISU for 2nd. and Campbell won't be there for long either and Sark, give him 4 years. However, this is a bad attitude to have regarding our opponents, we need to fix our house and the wins will take care of themselves but I'm not yet convinced we have the moxie to do it. Saban says you have to score now to be successful and score a lot. Not sure we have the coaching firepower to do that based on the current landscape.
