New western. Plot seems like it has potential but trailer makes it look kind of lame even with its stars.

The Unholy Trinity

I appreciate this. I will watch. It seems to have some elements (shootouts, cinematogrophy)of Ballad of Buster Scruggs that the producers directors plagiarized. Samuel Jackson is one of the top 3 over exposed actors in the business, but I'll still watch because of your note.

Any thoughts on Andor Season 2, cause for me, it’s nowhere near, and I mean NOWHERE NEAR, as good as the first season.

Pacing seems off. Couldn’t care less about some of the storylines. The whole Bix thing is meh.

I think there are six episodes left but damn, they’ve got a lot to do it seems in those 6 episodes. The decision to only have 2 seasons instead of 5 seems a bad move now.
This is what the film industry has resorted to. They do the first 3-5 episodes or season without any political correctness or woke crap. Then they morph into their virtual signal script writing by the end of season 1 or middle of season 2. By the time they get into season 3,4,5, it's all their west coast topanga canyon group think.

I have stopped watching ANY of these series shows even if they have a good track record from previous 2 seasons. True Detective is my biggest disapointment and changed my viewing behavior for evermore.

Was I supposed to type something here?

I am so very glad I never watched that past the first offering. That series was truly excellent, and I knew they would never top it.

As to the writers setting you up, I used to call it "The Left Hook." It's why I pretty much quit TV and movies, and read books.

Just started watching Mobland (Paramount+Showtime).

Need a scorecard to keep up with who's on which mob.
Just remember that almost every single character is either a Harrigan or working for the Harrigans. Ritchie is the main rival and head of the other family and you only know of him….they barely even use names for the people associated with his family.

Eddie, the grandson, needs a comeuppance badly.

The watched "The Sons of Liberty" on Prime. It is a three episode History Channel miniseries.
You forget how young most of the patriot leader were. Except Franklin who was in his 70s and Washington who was in his 40s.

Wife and I started watching an older series called Leverage with Timothy Hutton on Amazon Prime. We're on the final season (5) now and it's been pretty entertaining and a nice respite from modern TV series. I see they created a new series that is currently in production with the original cast (minus Hutton) and I hope they kept the same formula and haven't succumbed to these modern day tropes.

My wife and I enjoyed the series too. The new series is called Leverage: Redemption and is on Prime as well.
