What the frog, you're quite right. BUT, as my preacher friend points out, 98% of the moves preachers make, even the good ones, maybe especially the good ones, are to larger, better paying churches. He couldn't think of any big church preacher who felt "called" to go to a county seat church in east Texas, where, as you say, he would be "called to suffer".
