Whatever the outcome, I would just wish for a quick resolution to this.
I tend to take bit of a hard line in that he knew what his buyout would be and was apparently comfortable enough with it to sign the deal. If he assumed that TCU would drop it down , then that was presumptuous on his part.
I don’t know the answer and am not sure I even know all of the questions but I think at this point, it’s better for all parties to work out a deal and move forward. The last thing I would want is a coach who blames his employer for holding him back
I’ll also look at it like this. At least we have a coach that another school wants.
Do you hear Shaka Smarts name mentioned in any of these job searches? Scottt Drews name? Any other Big 12 coaches name? It’s not much but we have a guy that others want
