KSU-ISU on August 23rd time hasn't been set as far as I can tell. Suppose anytime between noon and 3 PM would be options.

Wonder what the fan reaction was when they announced Farmaggedon was going to be played in Ireland instead of Manhattan?
well, they are from kansas and iowa. they have the pride of being slightly more exciting than Indiana.
Anytime they go somewhere it's like homeschoolers getting to go to ... well ... anywhere.

We, however, are in Fort Worth. An exciting town and have a great stadium and were promised this home game. I'll take Fort Worth over Dublin anyday. If I want badly prepared food and overrated beer, I'll knock off a food truck in Austin.

In a world where our bowl game destinations rarely seem attractive and playoff games are going to be financially prohibitive, I'll gladly take the opportunity to travel to Dublin and watch my Frogs play.

Think of it as an advance bowl game, but better! You'll have plenty of advance notice to plan activities and travel. The locals will all be very excited to entertain you. The best part: win or lose you'll get postgame drinks in one of the world's greatest drinking institutions, an authentic Irish Pub.
True, better than getting shot in Memphis.

Well, a combination of events has caused me to drop my season tickets, but I might elect to spend more for a few good home games, a cool road trip, or a bowl destination. Several things will have to fall in place for me business-wise, but God willing, I would like to go to this game.

I am pulling out this supposed moving of our home game with UNC to Ireland. I want the TCU Athletics mucks who monitor this board to see it.

What a bunch of malarkey BS this is (if true). Once again, the season ticket holders don't mean a flying scheiss to TCU officials and your money and support can kiss their ass.

I am tired of our marquee home games being sent to Jerry's World or now overseas. Why didn't they send this year's game to Ireland? Seems like this one would be the key game to send. Perhaps UNC has bigger stones than we do and told them (ESPN) not no but hell no.

We seem to always be all too eager to move our biggest home games out of our stadium and season ticket package. Oh but dont worry, those with the higher priority points will get first shot at those $200 tickets.

So season ticket holders, all of you loyalists for decades, scheiss off and enjoy your home games with Tarleton, UCF and Cincinnati and pay your higher season ticket fees and shut up.

This is an honor, big time game. Quit your little biotching and grow up. TCU has arrived baby. AER Lingus

I watched the FSU / Georgia Tech game last year, but never once did it ever make me think GT was “big time.” Only reason I watched was because I was hungry for some college football. This game will get eyeballs for the same reason, but it does not scream big time in any way.

A novelty game. You get more eyeballs when you win games and make the playoffs.

We took our homeschoolers to the Caribbean and the Rocky Mountains after we gave backpacks to the homeless living on lower Wacker. We went off peak so it was cheaper and less crowded.

My biggest eye opener was, oh, GT doesn't run the triple option any more?
Really? Not that Florida State was overrated and likely deserved to get left out the year before? Because that was the main college football talking heads argument for a solid week (until they got crushed the next week and removed all doubt).

The presser yesterday was the same old back slapping and grinning about how smart, brilliant and wonderful these people are. The effect on TCU ticket holders didn’t come up. Never is any decision made that money is the only consideration. Any future announcements of glamorous home games are a lie. They are just a placeholder until TCU can shop it around.

Whoever said that our admin still has the mindset that we’re still in CUSA is pretty accurate.
