one of the writers on the show was gary marshall who had a bit of success after the series ended and one interesting footnote is howard morris was one of the directors.

most won't recognize the name howard morris, but you might recognize him from one of his acting roles

I always remember him from stealing this skit on the Cid Caesar show. And this was live TV, folks.

One of the more charming aspects of Big Bang Theory was their habit of bringing these classic actors into the show from time to time. Bob Newhart the Jedi Master, Adam West, Leonard Nimoy (and his son), the running gag with Stephen Hawking, Stan Lee, James Earl Jones, Carrie Fisher...

Oh, and it may be somewhat obscure to most, but the actress Mira Furlan passed this last Friday. Fans of Babylon 5, hoist your tankards...
