Wow @westoverhillbilly you’re an old. Just messin!’ The 1969 Mike Phipps led Purdue Boilermakers stand out in my ooc memory as a lad on one hot humid Saturday. Frog comeback came up short. As I’m sure you remember.
I remember that game well. If we could have played another five minutes we would’ve won.Wow @westoverhillbilly you’re an old. Username checks out.Does someone on the forum know what we'll be paid for playing in Ireland?
Oh...and by the way...at the end of August and the beginning of September, the weather in Ireland is typically mild but can be quite variable. Average temperatures range from about 12°C to 18°C (54°F to 64°F). Rain is common, as Ireland is known for its frequent showers, so it's advisable to be prepared for wet weather.
Better weather than Cowtown. That was probably the deciding factor.
I will be registering my complaint with the AD. That is BS to keep taking away prime home games whether to Jerry's World or Ireland. Especially now that OUt and Fexas are gone. Just shut up and enjoy Tarleton and UCF and Cincinnatti.Serious smoke that our 2026 game against UNC will now be a week 0 game in Ireland.
No wonder TCU started promising not to increase prices again next year. So much for those 8 home games they promised. Another OOC opponent TCU pulls the rug out from under on the season ticket holder. Outside of Deion Colorado in 2023, when is the last time an interesting out of conference opponent came to Fort Worth?
I will still go to some games in the future, but this will be my last year as a season ticket holder. Don't really see what the point is anymore.
Agree. We reduced from four to two our tickets this year. Might just go to zero next year and watch from home. Especially if they do this.unfortunately it’s all about money now. I am starting to feel the same way. If I’m going to watch TCU play North Carolina on TV in Ireland or Jerry World, I might as well watch the rest of them on tv.
Same here. But I’m guessing that will be numbers that TCU never officially states.I really would like to know how many non-renewals there have been and how many new season ticket holders.

Out of the 16 season tickets our group had last year (and the 15 years before) we only had 4 tickets renewed this year.
Thanks for joining today to inform us.Out of the 16 season tickets our group had last year (and the 15 years before) we only had 4 tickets renewed this year.
It’s at least 7,000 tickets given the urgency of the emails and fire drills from the athletic departmentI really would like to know how many non-renewals there have been and how many new season ticket holders.
Yeah, I guess there's nothing like being at the game, but when you start thinking about what kind of gatherings/parties you could throw in the house or yard for what tickets cost, then it really seems stupid to buy tickets.we did not renew our 6 club seats. it's a hell of a savings and honestly a better gathering with tailgating, cheep beer, great bbq, and friends and family in our neighborhood anyway.
