What I heard was James people came to TCU before he entered the portal and said Miami had offered $X and wanted to know if TCU would match it which they did. Then Brock took it back to Miami and got more. He then came back to TCU and wanted more. He was then told he and his 2 brothers (one a grad asst and one injured for 2 years on scholarship) should all get out of the building asap. If true good on Sonny.

Yeah, that's a tough but early lesson to learn regarding negotiations.

This feels like what 'Ol Miss did with Zach Evans. Better to be loyal and take the matching money with the people working with you in good faith, and then work on improving your draft potential. He'll make way more money that way in the long run...

As it is, he'll be a mercenary at the U competing against all the other mercenaries, and as soon as he slips up, he'll get benched.

Thought Luke was in the offices the other day. His name is still listed though all the other coaching changes have been made. Maybe just delayed...

Also Tommy's scholarship was paid through year-end (non-athletic).

I was strictly passing on unvetted and juicy rumors told to me by a guy who was told by another guy who is on the inside. (as any good member of KF is required to do!) He did say the suitor was Miami way before it came out.

I can kinda see it…I mean this year he certainly didn’t look as good as last year so I imagine his draft stock got dinged a little. Probably hoping he has another year like he did last year or the year before and then goes to the NFL for what he hopes is big big money.

I have read that his girlfriend is a student at Miami, so that would be a good fit for him.

Not a popular opinion but I'm hoping for Cam Cook deciding to stay. I know he didn't have a great year, but he's still a young highly talented athlete with great potential. Run blocking should be better next year too
