Those are definitely the big 3, especially DL & WR. Dykes is a stickler in his belief games are won and lost in the trenches. They will overweight focus on the lines and TCU is already pursuing a really good WR.
Lots of patches like a big RB that can run tackle to tackle, LB, CB, another TE.
TCU is actually sitting pretty good on young talent
Being recruited hard by Oregon, A&M, & BU.

With JP Richardson, Jack Bech, and Savion all gone after the season ends (maybe after the Cincinnati game if we have opt-outs) there will be ~175 receptions and ~2,400 yards available for next year's receivers.

MAJOR emphasis on the first two. We’ve brought in some good WRs at the HS level. Gekyle and Small will push for pt on the two-deep. But grabbing a proven playmaker opposite McAlister will be essential.

Dykes is no stickler on games being won/lost in the trenches. His history is anything but that. Our only hope is that after our utter annihilation from SMU Dykes is learned. Did they Learn him to the proper level??

In an effort to repair the dumpster fire left by GP, Dykes has brought in more linemen in the last 4 recruiting and 3 portals than anyone previously, and it’s not close.
’22. Recruit DL. 5 OL 2. GP had -0- OL/DL. Dykes committed 7 in 2 weeks.

Are you a human? The "transfer portal" changed radically in '21. You can't compare 2019/20 transfers and the transfers during '22 to '25. Well, you can but prior to '21 transfers had to sit out a year in most instances.
It is not simply about quantity. If you take a look at the OL/DL transfers we landed in Dykes period at TCU many of these guys really did not pan out. Sometimes a little focus on your current roster helps. I would sure like for Damonic Williams and Pat Jenkins to have been retained. Those two are superior to any DL we've brought in.

We have some monsters in the trenches. Just took a while, and still taking time, to find a unit that gels.
When they got in cam’s ear about running north and running behind his pads, that o line suddenly looked better.
So that will be a good recruiting need.
