Rant ahead...

I've been helping out an elderly relative for several years and over the last year her mental abilities have started to deteriorate. During this time I've come to realize just how many shady people exist in this world. She gets bombarded by calls and mailers on a daily basis from "companies" offering services or sweepstakes. She used to just throw that stuff away, but now she keeps most of it for me to "look over" for her. This didn't bother me in the past, but I think she may have started sending some money to a couple of these outfits. Today I'm heading down to look at papers for a "company she was going to invest in" because they sent her papers to sign. She says they set up an LLC for her. I'm saddened by the thought that she's in this position to begin with and darning pissed that someone could be scamming her. Darn the scumbags out there to hell.

/end rant
You're a good man to care.

Booked RedRum fishing charters in Cabo for a fun trip next week. Owned by a TCU guy and recommended by a couple of solid bro’s. @TCURiggs @Ron Swanson

Thanks for the advice and the pics that y’all posted when you used the charter.

NWLA is all set to be star spangled and hammered in Mexico.
Our friend’s name is Ryan. Go to his bar called “The Porch” and get a cucumber jalapeño margarita. Maybe the best drink I’ve ever had.

Good luck fishing. Just tell them that you want to catch whatever would be the most fun at the given time. Don’t go in dead set on a certain species that isn’t in season.

I make large batch jalapeño cucumber margaritas for parties sometimes. They are a hit and look great in a big drink dispenser. My dad even won a margarita competition at work with them.

Margarita. Competition. Work.

Ask if he had any openings. I’d like a job where I could throw down a few bomb arse margs.

Does anyone have any experience with CBD gummies? I have struggled with shoulder and back pain for years, but after I dropped some body weight my back has been much better although, I still have tightness and aches and it keeps me up at night from time to time.

Looking into a bottle of Sunday Scaries gummies to see if it helps relax the back at all.

My Dr. has told me to take every route possible to avoid seeing a back specialist for surgery until I can no longer handle it. He isn’t a fan of prescribing narcotics for pain management. I also see a chiropractor that does a good job, but the dull pain never seems to go away.

Have you tried physical therapy?

I herniated a disk in High School. After several years of intense pain, I learned how to stretch and strengthen the muscles around it so it doesn’t bother me much anymore. I also learned that pain medication made it worse because it would allow me to maintain poor posture that would aggravate the injury.

I’ve stayed away from chiropractors. IMO, it’s a self perpetuating temporary solution.

Try skipping the chiro.

Is there a reason you’re looking at gummies vs oil?

As a PT myself, I support this message.

Great advice. I was specifically told that medicating with pain killers and working through the pain for years was one of the reasons for my back pain due to the exact reason that you stated. In my original post, I was curious about CBD and seeing if it would relax the back at the end of the day.

I will definitely look into a PT. I do think that chiro’s have their place, though.
