An aside on the aggie loss. Was talking to an insurance guy last week that just couldn't stop talking about going to a&m and how good they were. Said they were going to whup the "sips" and win the SEC this year. On and on. Then asked me who I liked so I told him I went to TCU. His response? Oh, a decent little school I guess.

I almost feel like sending an email and asking wut happened.

Parity, like a conference with no star teams and possibly no representative even within the Top 20 of the CFP come next week.
That might be parity within the conference, but the B12 is nowhere close to being at parity with any power conference. The B12 is closer to being at parity with the AAC than the ACC.
It might be intriguing for a homer to watch their conference games, but it certainly doesn’t win any additional viewers or make any money, and we continue to fall further and further behind.
rankings don't mean [ Finebaum ] these days, son.

Fun watching some here get duped by media desire rankings. Outside of Texas and Georgia, (and it's a maybe about Texas) The upper half of the big 12 could compete with the upper half of the SEC. Even UTAH, which is facing an injury bug from hell, is a [ hundin] of a team to face.

Its like when people say we don't have talent. Two signals instantly go out. A. They have not been to a game and seen our players. B. They haven't ever had cleats in the dirt.

I disagree. Take the best team in the B12 (whoever that is) and I think they'd have a really hard time finishing in the Top half of the SEC. It's just a different level of football IMO.
