Week 13 games

We are every bit as competitive as the ACC.

People have some odd logic that it only a couple of teams are within reach of the conf title, that means depth. And if 4 have a shot, it’s “just wide”. That’s some pretty filed reasoning.
Which is also a very very average conference.

Nonsense. It’s parity.
Parity, like a conference with no star teams and possibly no representative even within the Top 20 of the CFP come next week.
That might be parity within the conference, but the B12 is nowhere close to being at parity with any power conference. The B12 is closer to being at parity with the AAC than the ACC.
It might be intriguing for a homer to watch their conference games, but it certainly doesn’t win any additional viewers or make any money, and we continue to fall further and further behind.

You should rethink that.
At the beginning of this week the B12 had only 2 teams ranked in the CFP top 20, and they both lost again. Colorado now has 3 losses, and with the dislike for BYU nationally, the B12 will be lucky to have anyone in the top 20 next week.
In contrast, the ACC will have 2 top 10s and another top 15.
Even the Mtn. West & AAC will have higher ranked representation than the B12

Arizona State will be in the top 20, probably around 15 or so, especially with BYU and Colorado both losing. Tulane had a bye week so Arizona St will jump them and unless a miracle happens, Army is going to drop out of the top 25.

Not great teams but also no really weak teams. 10 teams in top 50, 12 in top 56 of Massey composite rankings heading into the week. Weakest team- Oklahoma State- is a traditional strong team that was ranked at one point. Utah is a similar boat. Just ended up being a year of parity. Nice thing is the champ still makes the playoff.

Yeah, I guess that’s true. The B12 is as good as the AAC, but still trail the Mtn West, and clear outside of the ACC’s rear view mirror.

Firstly, there are only 64 Power teams, so 10 in the top 50 means there are 6 in the bottom 14. That Sucks!
The B12 Champ isn’t guaranteed anything.
The 5 highest ranked conference champions go. The ACC, B10, SEC, & Mtn West are 4.
The question is will the B12 champ be ranked higher than the AAC Champ. Maybe Tulane. I think the B12 Champ will be ranked higher, but it’s far from a sure thing.

Boise currently in a dog fight with Wyoming. They will have a big drop in the rankings if they lose.
