Not exactly. Lie detector tests are highly inaccurate and easily manipulated. He has nothing to gain by taking the test (people wouldn't believe it even if was shown to be truthful). The best course of action he has is to continue ignoring what happened and collect his millions in the NFL. As shown by Michael Vick, all he has to do is win and all will be forgiven.
There are ways to make lie detector protocols far more accurate and these questions aren't terribly bad in that regard as a start. But not the way done here. Basically the more accurate protocols involve specific "guilty knowledge" in a multiple choice format where both the interrogator and any supposed innocent person would be unaware of the actual illegal specifics.
VERY good liar implies that he is able to tell a lie and make you believe that he is not. I hear that kid talk and all I hear is lies.
