I was on record back then saying we should have hired Prime, and still say it now. But I will be interested to see what he does once his two sons get out of college. I don’t think he wants to coach in the NFL based upon what I think I’ve heard him say by those that know him. But I’m curious if he wants to stay at CU or what.

but that media focus with Prime, w the talent he could have pulled into TCU along with our existing facilities and backing would have been crazy good. But we went with the easier pick.

He’s not staying at Colorado for long after shedeur leaves…the Colorado program is already a mess with one of the worst OLs in the country and minimal depth…they rented a coach for 5 years who will leave them with a mess that throws them back in the basement as 4-8 team…

Doesn't Prime and his Buffs have to win some playoff games before we say that? They do not have a win over Michigan for their resume like we do.

Also, do you think the fan base is happy right now with Sonny? Coach Prime would divide us even more than the Briles' hire. Cannot imagine a coach more different than GP.

Oh absolutely. Dykes was only 18-9 in his first 2 years with a CFP finish of #2.
I’m sure Sanders at 11-9 will easily top that in his 2nd year.

Dykes fielded a .500 Team in 2022 - it was only because Max came off the bench that he has the record he does.
