We should’ve hired Coach Prime

Double D

Tier 1
I think my prediction is coming true. I think PRIME TIME is over at CU.

He's so full of [ Finebaum ]! Its all about him and his kids. Once the kids are gone, PRIME will be gone and CU will be a mess. Stay tuned....

I don’t think they can fire him because of not meeting responsibilities due to health reasons. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

They won't have to. Like I said, once his kids were gone, he would be too.
Meh…it will eventually be the case that Prime stops coaching at Colorado. And it will be at a time when his sons are no longer players there. But I don’t think it’s going to be immediately the case. I’d give him 3-4 more years of coaching and then frankly his health likely takes him completely out of coaching.

Colorado coach Deion Sanders announced Monday that he was diagnosed with bladder cancer earlier this year.

Sanders held a news conference to reveal the news as Colorado embarks on fall camp ahead of the 2025 season. Dr. Janet Kukreja, Sanders' doctor, said that Sanders had his bladder removed after a malignant tumor was found and that he had been "cured" from the cancer.

I certainly hope he has beaten this cancer, which can be a tough one. He's had a lot of health issues over the years - especially the blood clot in the leg problems. He's a tough competitive guy. I hope he is on a good path now with his health. He's only 57.

I don’t see how you can coach that way. Especially on a gameday. That’s sad.
Catheters and bags with volume to make it through the time he needs to be out there.

He's had his flaws and moments, but he seems to genuinely care these days, and he's an absolute trooper for forging through this. As long as he's taking care of himself too.
