I sat next to four SMU football players at Torchy Taco this week. Good service/average taco. Anyway, these guys are huge. I’m sure every P5 school has giant lineman so they’re not special but damn. It’s not often you see four guys together that are around 6’5 and 300 pounds. I see those numbers alot as a fan but different in real life.
Who used to reply to many posts with "We're doomed"? Well, I'm fearful that may be appropriate here....

View attachment 16226Is it true Gameday has never been to SMU
I was looking at the list saying MN was 2020 and thought that was wrong (I was there at CGD in 2019). Turns out that they were at the last game of the year (MN-WI) in 2019, then went back for MN's "opener" against Michigan in late October 2020. It was said to be only the fifth time a campus hosted CGD for "consecutive" games.

Of course, no fans were able to attend...

The rivalry is strong as ever. There’s no reason we shouldn’t beat them. Dykes said the reason he left smu was that TCU is 10 years ahead.
Considering we played in nc two years ago, we should have out-recruited them. Not to mention better facilities, crowd, conf, exposure.
I’m worried but excited. Will be a real test.

100%... The last thing anyone here wants to consider is TCU not moving forward. Dykes better read the room on this.

Exactly:
- Dykes / 10 years ahead
- NC / recruiting
- conf/exposure

We just need to bring water.
Will be playing backups in 4th
