SMU is no joke

Projecting certain wins later in the season from what your opponents looked like in their opening game is generally a fool's errand, but if that showing is actually representative of SMU's year we should beat them handily.
I generally agree but of the teams we played last year SMU was definitely in the bottom third.

Side note: It must be a Dallas thing. Took the daughters to watch the new Dallas women's professional soccer team. Dallas Trinity FC. Dallas got shellacked by Barcelona, but a good time nonetheless. The problem? The Cotton Bowl doesn't know how to run concessions either. What a cluster eff. The only thing they had over smew is that they didn't run out of water.

I just spent some time looking at SMU 2-deep. They are loaded with experience. Guys like Justin Osborne on OL have 46 career starts. It’s a ton of seniors and a lot of transfers that are excellent players.

When I predicted Colorado would beat us, no one listened and y’all drinking koolaid saying we win by 30.

Anyway, I hope we are fully prepared for Smooo
Obviously they werent!

It's our team and coaches that I hope learns. The next time TCU comes out against SMU as excited to play them as they are to play us will be the first time that I've ever seen.

SMU ranked #7 today

I honestly believe if they were ranked #7 when we played, Frogs get pumped and win

If that's true that's on us and it's disgraceful. We have three choices in this series:

a) act like it's a rivalry, get ready and beat them.
b) fail to show up, fall to an early deficit every year because we're not up for it and win almost accidentally only on the years we're vastly more talented.
c) chicken out and cancel the series in favor of home games to the Long Island Sharks.

a) TCU ends up with a schedule that looks a little more like an SEC schedule, going forward with dropping the SMU series as planned.
b) SMU don't need TCU anyway, now that they are in a P-4 :) conference.
c) SMU seems to have been really, really cheezed by TCU dropping the series; no reason to help them out with that.
