Played at Rancho Cotate and was All League at TE and DE, and was North Coast Defensive Player of the Year and All-Empire (large schools). Quick off the ball and fights off blocks well, very good leg strength. 68 tackles & 8 sacks in 10 games.

For the whiners in this thread, the Big 12 as a whole is getting absolutely donkey kicked in the nuts in recruiting. When it comes to national top 150/300 we are ranked 5th as follows:

ESPN 150 commitments by conference

1. SEC: 48
2. Big Ten: 24
3. Pac-12: 18
4. ACC: 16
5. Independents: 9
6. Big 12: 9
7. Big East: 2

1. SEC: 94
2. Big Ten: 44

No doubt the conference would look better on paper if both OU and UTx were having more typical recruiting years for them, signing nationally-ranked players. Don't think that's necessarily a bad problem for the rest of us to have.
