Don’t know, but I think with a new coach it will take less time than it would have otherwise, because I’m very confident it was never happening again under Gary.
I don’t think he should be a deal breaker but I’m still trying to decide how I should feel about him. He gets the job done and the results would be a huge upgrade over our current S&C staff but we all know the stories of the Waco Warden and his history as a HS coach so I just don’t know.Jettison him—Dealbreaker.
I respect your opinion and I partially disagree. I will be more blunt now. No one associated with the pool of poison that was Baylor should ever be on TCU staff.I don’t think he should be a deal breaker but I’m still trying to decide how I should feel about him. When was Napier’s, Moore, Sanders……anyone being considered? When was Dykes last top 10 finish? Just curious.
Kinda my point. Not saying GP hadn't reached a point of no return. The top 10 finishes he achieved (including a # 2) don't come easy. When was Napier’s, Moore, Sanders……anyone being considered?

NoicePetersen. 2016?
Not if we just settle for the the likes of Dykes.Don’t know, but I think with a new coach it will take less time than it would have otherwise, because I’m very confident it was never happening again under Gary.
Yep, seen plenty of that lately. Pretty sure they don't hand out that CFP trophy, or any bowl trophies, for a good presser.Lots of people judge Head Coaches on appearances and press conferences rather than substance. I suspect that their political voting behavior centers on the same.
Leavitt still assaulting players at half time? There is nothing wrong with Sonny Dykes. That wouldn’t be settling, that’s be getting one of the best coaches available, and just as importantly a guy that’s a great fit for TCU.
Also he already has an all star staff that includes younger Riley as OC and Jim Leavitt as DC (former long time USF head coach). TCU would be getting a lot for their/your money.
That's what got us Sullivan. Great speaker...Yep, seen plenty of that lately. Pretty sure they don't hand out that CFP trophy, or any bowl trophies, for a good presser.
Your work for the CBO, don't you ...Here’s my prediction:
When the new coach is announced, half of you are going to be super excited, half of you are going to complain because it wasn’t the guy you wanted and the third half are going to [ hundin] and moan regardless of who it is.
If you like your half, you get to keep it ...Can I choose which half I'm in ahead of time?
Wait, we interviewed Eliot?Dykes turned down offer from Tech.
Tony Eliot, Clemson OC, interviewed yesterday.
Agent for Matt Campbell has phoned in.
Wish GP would have brought him in at OC last year. This thread would not even exist. He was a better coach at UT than anyone who has done the job since.
Dwight Yoakam's next hit?Pawn shops are quickly becoming my favorite store: guitars, guns and gold
I thought he was a bigger spaz than GPLeavitt still assaulting players at half time?
by the time this is all over, he may get it.Just to mess with JD, Gary should have his agent see if he can also interview for the HC position.
That whole south florida investigation was just epic bad.I thought he was a bigger spaz than GP
