there are people whose pets and various body parts not only have more followers, but are more credible
Ok fine I’ll admit it I have a credible…body part.

LULZ...
Your lead baseball assistant took a demotion to go to Purdue yesterday. PURDUE. That tells you all you need to know about UH.

This is the dude that said Fuente was a lock to be fired at VT....This is LAUGHABLE
NAL but do deal with contracts and municipalities, and I'm fairly certain sovereign immunity isn't some blanket "I can break civil law with impunity" card. We know universities can be sued, see Michigan State with Nasser. Pretty sure they are still bound to abide by contracts they enter in to (and of course negotiate exits from those contracts as well).Super basic legal question for any lawyers out there.
If UT and OU refuse to abide by the grant of rights agreement Is it even possible to sue a state university? Could they just claim sovereign immunity?
Big12 just withholds the annual TV/Bowl revenue until the exit penalty is covered.Super basic legal question for any lawyers out there.

Jay Bilas reading his Disney script: "You're going to see the 'top teams' playing only each other going forward"
Top teams = most TV revenue (mostly football). Has nothing to do with level of competition. The bottom halves of each of the "P4" conferences, especially the ACC, are dead weight and would fit in the American. Disney is trying to make this minor league football to the detriment of the other 70 FBS schools
Short answer...the Twitter algorithms put things they think you'd be interested in on your Twitter feed. Or, someone you follow or follows you might have "re-tweeted" or responded to one of these clowns, so it shows up in your feed.questions as i don't have twitter, have no intent to get twitter, or follow anyone on twitter
how in the world do some of you come up with links to these people and why do anyone give them any credibility?

No offense, but I'm pretty sure the reason most of that junk is posted on here is for comedic value.Best policy is to do a little analysis on twitter posters before bringing their uninformed and obviously biased tweets to post here. The sheer volume of repost from from guy who has 20 followers on Twitter is ridiculous. For those that aren't Twitter savvy, here's a tip....a guy, gal, or organization who has less than 10k twitter followers is the equivalent of you getting your breaking new from the local Chipotle server.
Howington is a hack rumor monger. Pay him no heed.
It is about the money people. Follow the money. TCU has deep pockets ready to pay athletes (within the so called rules), modern facilities, access to great recruiting, and in the fourth largest market in the country (yes bigger than the Houston market). Ask your so called experts about that last one when comparing us to the rest of the remaining conference members.
Actually if the SEC wasn't so short sighted they could have added us and really cornered this market. Also Arky and Aggie would then get additional games here every other year. That is really kind of stupid of the SEC to not have sealed that deal. I know I know oh Texas has a large base here...and they love having their team here this next season also. Ask them about losing that chance every other year.
I would like to think that..No offense, but I'm pretty sure the reason most of that junk is posted on here is for comedic value.
so how is it texas draws more eyes in the metroplex than tcu?
also, the red river game isn't going away anytime soon so the sec will still have the biggest game in the metroplex each season.
as far as the deep pockets, where are all the nil deals for the frogs? don't think duggan is pulling down 7 figures.

That's really the downside of Twitter. The huge upside is that every major journalist has a Twitter account. By following them, you can easily access their content and opinions, breaking news, etc. all in one place instead of going to the CBS Sports website, and then USA Today, and then ESPN, and then Sporting News, etc.
People who've never used it think that you have it so YOU can tweet out messages about whatever you are interested in. The real use is to follow subjects/people that you are interested in and have access to that information in one place.
