I don't understand why we're focusing on this as the problem in the first half. Our QB played as about as good as we could have expected TBH.

I don’t think Downing was the problem at all, he’s been perfectly fine. But Cumbie is still a bad QB coach

yes, the 5-wide stuff and tempo doesn’t fool anyone anymore. I hate this brand of offense, but I’m afraid we’re stuck with it.

I don’t mind it when it’s exciting. Even though I’m more of a traditionalist I even liked the run and gun basketball offense. The thing is you better be a good rebounding team to do that...you better be a good blocking team to run and shoot in football. Problem is...this is not good blocking team AND it’s boring.
