QBR is a terrible rating system created by ESPN, and is massively overweighted toward rushing QBs.Completed 59% of his passes with 11 TD’s against 4 picks. Averaged 11 yards per completion. There were some games where he didn’t have many attempts or yards. Split time with another qb? I don’t know. But maybe that affected his rating?
You are correct, Seals had 59% completions and a 130 passer rating.
Several years ago most credible ratings services realized how slanted QBR is when Zach Wilson had the highest QBR of any QB in a week.
- Wilson threw for 14/22 102yds w/ 1 TD and ran 4 times for 91 and a TD.
- Burrow came in 2nd with a historic passing day of 37/46 for 525 and 4 TDs.
Neither QB had any picks.
QBR - Zach Wilson 92.4. Joe Burrow 89.3.
