FWST: TCU’s Jamie Dixon quiet on UCLA: ‘He didn’t say nothing about coming back or leaving.’

Lots of wisdom in your post. But she isn't going to lose a Democrat district that has been Democrat since 1993 and before that the last GOP was 1927. It is solid Democrat district that trending even more Democrat so no, she will not lose her next election.
I bet she'll face a very well funded primary against her. Not sure anybody thinks a republican would win there.

You wanna make a little wager on that? Say $100?
I don't care enough about her or any other politician to make a wager on it. I just wouldn't be surprised if you see the Speaker and Minority Leader, who control an enormous amount of money for congressional elections, earmark a nice pool of cash for a candidate in her district who would be less controversial and cause them less trouble politically and in PR matters. That happens every election cycle with the most outspoken threats in a party. The Republicans have done it too. Truth be told, I wouldn't be stunned if a significant amount of money from Republicans went to the O'Rourke campaign to defeat Theodore. The power brokers in each party want "yes men" rather than renegades. AOC clearly couldn't care less about what others prefer her to stay quiet about.

Lol, no she won’t. Democrats love her.

Also, who really gives a [ Finebaum ], I’m a staunch liberal but it doesn’t matter. Our country is wholly owned by the rich and corporations who force the government to act in their interest and not that of the people. Example: Congress has a Bill up today (it may have already passed) to scuttle the IRS offering free tax filing software. Before that, Congress has repeatedly shot down bills that would allow the IRS to complete filing without most intervention (they already have all the info and could easily just send out bills/refunds) for much of the population. But Intuit and other tax prep companies spend millions lobbying against it, even though it would be a benefit to most of the actual people in this country.

Conservative and liberal are useless labels and dividing lines drawn by the people with real power to keep the poor and middle classes divided.

That doesn't mean another strong Democrat doesn't run against her. I think Pelosi is getting tired of her. IF Trump secures the win for another term (and I think he will) look at how the old guard start cleaning out some of the outliers. AOC is too much of a wild card who speaks without experience. I actually like some of her ideas, but that doesn't mean they are good ideas because its pretty hard to put some of them in place without crippling the economy. Its like socialism. The idea is beautiful, but its not attainable because power corrupts, even in America. Capitalism is the greatest equalizer the world has ever known.

The multi-term guy she beat has already indicated he’s running against her and will release the hounds next go round, so you’ve already lost the argument. He claims to have had a ton of oppo but didn’t use it because he didn’t think it was necessary.

He can run but the district demographics have passed him by and unless she has some horrible past he isn't going to win. If there was something the fox news of the world would have already made it know to the world.

I think he was referring to the primary election. No Republican is going to take her seat from her, but a more palatable Democratic candidate very well could.

You mean the guy she already beat once?

She won’t have a serious challenge on her way to reelection.

I’m glad a bunch of hard core conservative male TCU fans mostly from Texas are micro-analyzing internal New York Democratic Party politics on a TCU sports forum. I’m sure your opinions are super good and important and will be taken into account by New York democratic primary voters next year.

What are your thoughts on Kay Granger? Does her Trinity River Vision boondoggle, which is a total nightmare debacle despite her senior status in the party and despite having put her unqualified son in charge (before trump made blatant nepotism so acceptable) trigger you like some words by a backbench congresswoman from New York? Or are we only allowed to be triggered by words of a backbencher and not actual, costly taxpayer dollar waste/boondoggles?

I think there's a little bit more variety of opinion in these comments than you are representing.

The person AOC beat, Joe Crowley is an 57 year old white guy. The demographics of the district are decidedly against him if wants to run against her in the primary and it was a surprise he hung on as long as he did.
