CCSU STARTING PITCHING
CCSU's Friday night guy is Sr LHP Brendan Smith.
5-7 (14 starts in 14 appearances)
1 complete game
4.03 ERA, 82.2 ip
105 hits, 45 runs, 37 earned
16 bb, 57 ks
.312 b/a against
.867 fielding %

Fairly confident they'll throw Smith--he's a lefty and routinely their Friday night guy. If not him, it would be So RHP Mike Appel:
4-4 (13 starts in 15 appearances)
4.21 ERA, 72.2 ip
73 hits, 45 runs, 34 earned
36 bb, 47 so
.268 b/a against
.733 fielding %

Just heard in a radio interview from the CCSU coach, they are indeed throwing Brendan Smith against us tomorrow night.

Bought reserved seats from a friend at full price.

If this weather forecast continues, they'll be letting people into the stadium for free to watch the games that get rescheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

What would happen if BYU was in our regional, and all the games got rained out and pushed back to Sunday. Would BYU have to forfeit?

The two winners play at 7:00, the two losers play at 2:00, both on Saturday. According to the NCAA bracket info, the initial Virginia/DBU game (2 vs 3) is on ESPNU, all the others are on ESPN3.

By my count, only 6 of the 23 games on Friday will be on actual TV with 2 of those 6 on the SEC network. And like you mentioned, only 1 regional game from Ft. Worth is televised. Pretty weak.

edit - Anyone know why the Pac 12 network doesn't pick up these tourney games? I thought they had agreements with ESPN.
