My wife and two other couples make it out to dinner once a month. We could easily drop $100-$150 per person for dinner, but that is our only entertainment. If I lived in Fort Worth and was able to go to 6 home games a year, would it have an impact on my dinner budget? Absolutely. It is more about whether going to TCU games are a priority or not, not necessarily the cost.

FWIW, after I graduated TCU in the 90's I had football and men's basketball season tickets, and I wasn't really making bank back then. I get that it way more expensive now (as percentage of earnings), but it was my entertainment back then.

Of course we have people on this board that think that TCU-Utah is not a compelling match-up. Sure beats TCU-UTEP.
Where are you eating? I think you are getting ripped off. I only drop that much once a year, if that. And that includes going into NYC, eating at a nice place with drinks. Admission: I stay away from the trendy spots, and find almost all 4 and 5 star restaurants a bad experience.

I really don't want to dump my two season tickets because I like who I sit near but TCU won't let me keep one of my season tickets because it will leave a single seat. So even if I toss those seats back and try to get a single ticket I can't get one of my old seats because of the leaving an empty seat BS. I'm pretty much screwed if I try to get a single seat in my current section. TCU just has little compassion for a longtime season ticket holder.
Tell them to move you to better seats at the same price and they have a deal. Otherwise, either renew what I have or I'm dropping the tickets. Then do it. I always feel better when I drop doing business with someone when they try to push me too far.

You can go to 2 or 3 games buying on the secondary market or take a road trip to one of the away games..

TCU needs to wake up and change our crap payment plan if they’re going to hike the prices this much. Our “payment plan” is 30 days…seriously?

1. March 7
2. March 10
3. April 10

A&M gives 4 month payment plan
Oklahoma state gives up to 9 months,
Baylor requires 50% by May 31
TCU requires 100% by April 10

I don’t blame ADMB since he just got here but he needs to fix this by next year.

Final payment right before tax day is tough for some.

Does anyone know if you can renew your parking pass but drop your tickets. I have a friend with extra seats so going to take 1 (I currently have 2 seats but really only need one) but would like to keep my parking spot.

With a 50% price hike for our seats midway up Sec. 234 east side (on the 50) we're dropping down from 4 season tix to 2. If family and friends want to join us for a game we'll look to the secondary market. But we considered giving up all our season tickets and going entirely secondary market at games of our choosing, (likely sitting out the early, hot FCS game(s) for starters).
No more OU or Texas. Scheduling with Tech, Baylor and other rivals is spotty. Two meh seasons in a row. Not a great time to be asking for a lot more money. Would bet we're not the only ones scaling back or not renewing.

I will agree. The payment plan is absurd. I hope our new AD will take notice. Donati acted like everyone makes a million a year. And yes, requiring the final payment right before income tax day takes the cake. Did anyone in the athletic department think this through?
Given the way they blew up long time, many spots, tailgates in Lot 4, no. In fact, the mental midget they said did it admitted he fugged up. 8 spots down to 2, no tailgate, now I don’t miss it!
