I guess I am old-school and don't keep up with the new metrics and new way to play the game, but I really really can't stand the amount of strike outs we incur. Is two-strike hitting that passe now? I assume the numbers make sense if you have the ability to hit for power that you keep attempting to hit for power, but I also assume that style doesn't work if you can't actually hit for power. Can anyone school me on the modern day math?

how deep is the gopher pitching staff?
minnesota starter is close to 65 pitches already in the game
Wasn’t even close to out
At least getting caught stealing at home and third to end the first two innings is reducing our LOB stat
Wasn’t even close to out
Isn't the old adage never make the third out at third?
