This guy was the pitcher that took the loss last week when the Angel's threw their no-hitter and then comes back tonight and he almost throws a perfect game against them.

Was it something like 4 HRs in the span of 7 pitches? I don't know why they even pitch to Jordan. They IBB him every time up in the last series and they win 3 of 4 and wouldn't have even had to deal with walkoffs.

Looks like TBird had himself a day last night. He’s playing for Northwest Arkansas and he went 4-5 w 3 HR and 7 RBI against the Sod Poodles.

I’m sure they have him on a strict inning/pitch count to start his minor league career, but less than 2 innings per start seems a bit extreme, no?

Given that he threw a bunch of innings starting in February maybe they want to be very judicious for the remainder of his first minor league season? I'd expect he'd throw a lot more innings next season.

I was going to say the same thing as Purp. The only thing I can think of is that they want to play it safe since he's already pitched so much this year.
