No doubt it was helmet to helmet but I thought he had his eyes up enough to avoid targeting--ie., not really the "crown" of the helmet.

It was the crown, but wasn’t forcible contact, imo. If they ruled he was defenseless, “crown” wouldn’t matter since the contact was to the head, but the runner was still fighting for yards, so I don’t think he was defenseless. And still requires forcible contact, which there wasn’t. Bad call.
