Have followed Denton Ryan football for years and saw 3 or 4 home games this past season. M. Edwards more like 245 - 250. Kid is huge and fast. Love to see him in TCU purple in 2012.

The next Junior Day is one week from today, February 12th. I really hope we pull in a couple guys. Edward Pope, Brian Nance, a DE or an OL would work too.

Feisty Thanks for the updates!
So far we have 4 from california and was wondering if you have anything on a player out of Jackson Calif. by the name of Austin Hoyt? Looks like BYU is looking at the guy but can't find out who else is looking at him. 6'7" 230lbs DE/TE. I found only one video of him but I always look for the big ones that may fit somewhere. The video only shows one pass completion to him and then quarterback runs it in for the TD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FCHC93RRL4 All he needs is meat on the bones and a little TCU coaching.

Brian Nance apparently a TCU lean due to Brandon Carter coming here, would love to have TCU get a LB that can actually run 4.35.

Uh considering that a 4.35 time would have made him the 3rd fastest guy at the NFL combine last year I suggest you have a dose of skepticism with your optimism. I still want him to wear purple, but try to not throw these numbers around as much.

Don't have a clue if the staff is aware of this guy or not?

Breaux Bridge (La.) wide receiver Travin Dural. According to a Tigerbait.com (Rivals) article, he has visited both Bama and LSU for their junior days. He said the following about TCU:

"The other school I am hoping will holler at me soon is TCU. I love TCU's offense and the fact it is in the city."

Not necessarily because of Carter, would be a TCU lean even if Carter went to OU but sure doesn't hurt having him here. Same in the recruiting of Hiva.
