They have non wins and "quality" non wins at that

No offense to this year's team, but this isn't really the team I want to represent us for our first recent era National Championship opportunity anyway.
Don't get me wrong. I love this team and it's been a really, really fun season, and we still have the opportunity to accomplish some special things, but at the end of the day, this isn't a National Championship quality team IMO. We're just not good enough on offense this year to win a playoff game and then go on to win the National Championship.
And I really don't want our first playoff experience to end with a lopsided loss that leads to everyone saying, "This proves TCU has never belonged in the first place." It would be a disservice to all the National Championship quality teams that have come before them (2009, 2010, and 2014).
Kind of ironic really. We beat ISU 55-3 in 2014 and drop form 3 to 6, and ISU beats us this year in a low scoring affair. Its seems beating ISU badly is the equivalent to ISU beating us.We were out of the CFP the moment we lost to ISU. No TCU team will ever be allowed in with a non-win.

There's some logic there, but it's like saying, "Nope, never gonna ask the girl I really like out, because if she says no, then every other girl will laugh at me." Or you might end up marrying her.Wow. U are

Heads would explode LMAOHaving a 10, 11 or even more win season is fantastic. And a great launching point for next year. Plus I heard Kenny is now trying to get a medical redshirt.
jk, jk

With all do respect this is dumb. Defense wins championships and our D is nasty. As someone mentioned give Patterson a couple of weeks and we might just pull it off. Bottom line once your name is associated with the playoffs your program is on a different level.

Yupwith wvu and osu losing, we were out of the playoffs even if we beat Baylor and ou in the big 12 championship game.
Especially if we end up with UCF as some are speculating.OU at Jerry’s World for the Big 12 championship is our bowl as far as I’m concerned, it’s our regions blue blood with the heisman front runner, can’t think of a bigger better stage
