Presently, Mrs. Brewingfrog and I are sitting at the gate of our AUS to PHX flight. Waiting area full of hopeful Frogs. Lots of purple on display!
We are meeting our Froggish travel buddies at Sky Harbor and driving to our palatial dogs out in the desert.

We leave today on our road trip from Seabrook, TX, south of Houston. We have stops in Granbury and El Paso with friends and then Friday we should be able to make it to the Hells Half Acre Happy Hour to visit with frog family. See yall soon.

Flight was canceled…second leg, so my Son drove to Andrews yesterday from Ft. Worth. Left Andrews about 3:30 to Las Cruces last night. Dined at La Posta (excellent by the way) and met some fellow Frogs from Houston. On to Scottsdale this morning!

Not going to the game... went to Reno-Tahoe last week and somehow made it back on Southwest on the 26th with only a couple hours of delay. We were the only Southwest flight to leave Reno on the 26th and one of 3 flights to land at Love after 12pm

I guess this is my equivalent of winning the lottery or having a big slot machine hit for my lifetime.

7am flight from DFW full of Frogs. And one Michigan guy. Just made it to the hotel. Trying to figure out a strategy for getting around town today that doesn’t involve half dozen $30 Uber trips.

Driving the north route on I-40 bit us in the rear. We’ve gone 120 miles in 4 hours. Northern New Mexico experienced an unforecasted snow and ice. I’m typing this from the driver seat while parked on I-40 about 30 miles east of Gallup. Someone save me.

Counting on American Airlines leave Saturday DFW at 8:30AM and arrive in Phoenix at 10:25 AM—same with my son flying out of Austin. Will Uber it to game when we land. Please be on time!

Arrived in Phoenix, and have cocktails. We are plotting our next moves while awaiting the rest of our party.
Flight was thankfully uneventful.

Yeah this is awful. Take southern route today (Thursday) if you can.

If you find the Lumbaryard Hefe, try it. Just got one at a place in old town Scottsdale called The Herb Box (which, to my surprise and slight disappointment, is just a restaurant).

Leaving Central MO for KC this afternoon. Obligatory stop at Whataburger in KC (being a Texan who is a sojourner in a foreign land). Flying out tomorrow AM (on AA) and if all goes well will arrive in time for the pep rally at Scottsdale Stadium!

Didn’t know there was a whataburger in KC

I saw them building one in October in Leawood, which is a southern KC suburb down by Shawnee Mission.
