A domestic violence civil protection order was filed against Ohio State wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Zach Smith on Friday.

The protection order, filed by Smith’s ex-wife Courtney Smith, 33, was served at 6:10 p.m. Friday, according to a City of Delaware (Ohio) police spokesperson.

The order continues a history of domestic violence allegations against Zach Smith.

In 2009, when he was a University of Florida assistant, he was arrested for aggravated battery on a pregnant victim, according to a Gainesville Police Department report. Courtney Smith was 8-10 weeks pregnant at the time.

favorite though is how urban told stefon diggs urban wouldn't let his son go to uf because of serious character issues in the gator locker room when it was urban and his staff who recruited those very kids to florida

worst though is this is mensa's mentor and one big reason why i distrust mensa at texas. sob has no soul and will burn every program down in texas just to be successful.

I had been impressed with his work at Flordia. But when I saw all the nightmares that Muschamp had to deal with that were left over from the crap Urban had pulled, my impression began to change. Few in the national media wanted to talk about the issues Will had to deal with because of Urban. The culture that the Florida program had evolved in the last couple of seasons under Urban were pretty bad.

Urban keeping that guy on staff is disturbing. Unfortunately, given Urban's history, it is not a total shock.

I enjoyed watching Tommy Tuberville and Les Miles out coach Urban in their wins over Florida.
