Marcel Siem used his usual setup of driver, two fairway woods, three-nine iron, three wedges and a putter to win the Italian Open presented by Regione Emilia-Romagna, but there were changes in his bag from his first start of the DP World Tour season. ,

Filippo Celli with his second straight top 10 in Europe (Germany's BMW Championship). That's got him into a good position to retain his card.

Hayden Springer matches him with back-to-back top 10s on the PGA Tour. He finished T7. Hayden has banked a shade over $450,000 the past two weeks and improves to 113 in the FedEx Cup rankings with 5 weeks to go before the playoffs. He also looks likely to keep his card. He will play the alternate-field ISCO Championship in Kentucky next week (as will Barjon and Celli and Ko and Ravetto). Barjon looks to be headed back to the KFT unless he finds some magic soon.

Former Frogs Jacob Skov Olesen and Caitlyn Macnab teamed up at the Arnold Palmer Cup for mixed fourball and mixed foursomes and won both matches. They also each won one other match to combine for 4 points for the internationals, but the U.S. team still won the competition.

Looks like former Frog Jacob Skov Olesen will play the weekend at Troon. He was 6 over through his first 10 holes yesterday but played his last 26 holes without a bogey and should make the cut on the number. Today he made 18 pars.
