Definitely doesn’t seem to jump out of his hand like other closers we’ve had in recent years outside of Perez. Like the cutter if he can’t get a 2 seam to compliment it.

nice seeing the boys claw back in and take the game after a rough start
wasn’t easy but should build some confidence
will be interesting to see how tomorrow goes- Cal looked a lot more disciplined at the plate than anyone else we have faced so far this year

By the way - for those not at the game, may have been the best non-con regular season crowd we have in a long time - very into the game.
Could tell on TV. Very vocal and into it. Looked like stands were pretty full too.

There were a couple of groups of their fans making a lot of noise - so not a ton of fans but rep’d well
They didn’t like the woo - but the noise from the TCU fans definitely seemed to bother their pitchers
