You could be right. It kinda looks like things have changed in the CFP era. The P4 conferences are all much bigger. When you play in a 16 team conference and only get one team in the CFP, it knocks everyone else down a notch in the bowl heirarchy.
1 CFP + 8 Bowl eligibles is crowded.

Back in 1968 my parents took us all to Hemisfair. My mom just had to stay in the Menger. All I heard about for weeks is how great the Menger is. The place was a dump 55+ years ago. Now that I’m a few years older, the bar makes a big difference.

…..and still haunted.

I think we would be attractive for any bowl. We travel well and we do reasonably well drawing viewers for TV.

Last time I went to a TCU Bowl game in Shreveport, I almost caught pneumonia from the terrible weather. Hoping no to Shreveport!

There are 0 or no connections to the NM bowl and TCU. Why do you keep going with this?? If TCU gets set in the NM bowl, we should revolt. Other than UNLV we will boatrace those MWC pretenders. TCU to the Rate Bowl in the baseball stadium.

OK i'm getting it. Disney the mighty may circumvent all historical norms. IF they do, ME an another million others will say scheiss off. The affect will be minimal short term. The effect long term will be a slow corrossion/erosion long term.

Newsflash…no matter who we play, we will be without our two best offensive weapons, and maybe our third.

I would temper expectations of boatracing ANY team.
