Was hoping that we play Florida. I'm not sure that we have ever faced them.

Both USC and Washington barely went 6-6. They are way down the list. Heck besides Oregon (playoffs) the only former PAC12 teams that had a remotely good season were Arizona State and Colorado.

Yea but why shoot for an all Big 12 matchup is what I'm saying. You can have BYU or Iowa State (if they lose the Big 12 title game) play either USC or Washington and keep the Big 12/Pac matchup. Hell you even have Washington State out there with 8 wins, but I'm not sure what their situation is as the Pac 2 champ.

It looks like things are leaning to either Liberty Bowl or Texas Bowl. I’d prefer Houston with the better covered Stadium. Memphis can be brutal weather. I’m getting too old to last in the cold weather for very long.

I'll take it even though Houston and around the stadium is meh. LSU fans in Omaha weren't that annoying, compared to the Tennessee or Florida fans.

oh i beg to differ - daughter is an aggie and the LSU fans were insufferable in CS for the 1st half of that game....a bit more quiet in the 2nd half tho.

There is no connection to the NM bowl to Big 12 teams according to Lindy's or Phil Steel. Only shenanigans by ESPN/Disney would place TCU in the NM Bowl. What I mean by Shenanigans is that ESPN has been evaluating eyeballs on bowl games and TCU may not warrant Liberty or Houston bowl viewership. New Mexico Bowl is historically 17 k attendance.
