Newsflash…no matter who we play, we will be without our two best offensive weapons, and maybe our third.

I would temper expectations of boatracing ANY team.
I doubt we’d be favored against most 8 win teams, no matter who plays, so boat racing is not likely.
However, there are at least two sides to every equation. I would think a team like A&M would have a number of NFL-hopefuls & others sitting out of a minor bowl.

Back in 1968 my parents took us all to Hemisfair. My mom just had to stay in the Menger. All I heard about for weeks is how great the Menger is. The place was a dump 55+ years ago. Now that I’m a few years older, the bar makes a big difference.
We may have crossed paths, my family went as well. . . I can't remember which hotel, but it was a high-rise and the most memorable thing was my grandfather, who never lived more than 5 miles from where he was born, and had never been on an elevator before, got off on the wrong floor and got lost, and was high-pissed about it. lol.

Most of the somewhat credible sports outlets seem to be in an even split between Liberty & New Mexico. I have no idea if any of them have a clue.
Yesterday Brett McMurphy at Athlon Sports was saying Liberty vs. OU, but today it’s New Mexico vs. Louisiana.

AD probably had to go through the negotiations that happen with all the not the top bowls.

Projections after NY 6 bowls is kinda hard to pin down.
