Crowd had ZERO impact on the game. All those people. They made their stadium big, but it’s definitely not helping the loud factor. Another home loss.

That crowd can be raucous when the game begins and things continue to go their way. They also go quiet and sit on their hands at the slightest bit of adversity, probably quicker than any of the full big box stadium fans. I think are rightly conditioned to expect late game crap outs.

Getting caught up after watching Mo State hang with Montana until the end. It appears I missed Aggie being Aggie, Tech being Tech, Arizona teams being Arizona teams, and KF.C Frog fans being KF.C Frog fans.
Poppycock. We preserve our KFC-ness right here for prosterity. Might I suggest you pour a double and begin with page 3 of the Gameday thread to catch yourself up on all that you missed?

Saban, on the morning show, picked Aggie to beat #7 Irish because of the crowd noise.
“I love Marcus Freeman and think he’s done a great job at Notre Dame but I’ll tell you what. Until you’ve played in this place, a night game at Texas A&M, you do not know what it’s like,” Saban said. “I’m going with Texas A&M in this game because I think the noise will have a huge factor in the outcome of this game.”

“The last time we played here at night — which was 3 years ago — y’all beat us,” Saban said earlier in the broadcast when first-year head coach Mike Elko was on the set. “After winning 19 games in a row, Bryce Young was so confused by your pressures that we had no chance.”

Elko was the defensive coordinator of that Aggie team.

Maybe #7 Notre Dame has their best team in a while - the real deal this time. Held #20, but favored Aggie at Aggie stadium, to total of 258 yards offense and ran the ball for 198 yards at 5.8 per carry - defense and rushing.

“Notre Dame offensive line had 6 combined starts and faced a defensive front with elite pass-rushers across the board.”
