Shocker.

Fellow East Texan here...that area does not get recruited heavily. One thing I can say about Jarrett Anderson is that he was very good at finding those diamonds in the rough in East Texas and Louisiana. Lonta Hobbs is a prime example. It's amazing with all the resources and time programs put into recruiting that a kid like him can fall through the cracks like he did. He's been good since the day he stepped on campus.
Odd if that area isn't recruited heavily.Fellow East Texan here...that area does not get recruited heavily. One thing I can say about Jarrett Anderson is that he was very good at finding those diamonds in the rough in East Texas and Louisiana. Lonta Hobbs is a prime example.
Is Lonta Hobbs still in jail?Fellow East Texan here...that area does not get recruited heavily. One thing I can say about Jarrett Anderson is that he was very good at finding those diamonds in the rough in East Texas and Louisiana. Lonta Hobbs is a prime example.
Was sentenced 20yrs in federal prison in '19 shortly after serving time for another crime in '08 (think he got 10yrs on that one).Is Lonta Hobbs still in jail?

It's very possible that ZE goes "pro"after this season. I don't think he's any more loyal to OleMiss than to TCU.He had an "injury" for us last year too. Turns out he was just playing the Price is Right. I told this to Ole Miss fans and they just called me a jealous sour grapes hater.
I would think he needs to prove a bit more before someone is going to take him too high, but who knows. He's projected as a 2nd or 3rd rounder right now I believe. Given the position he plays and his "injury" and off-the-field history, I'd be very leery of drafting him that high if I were a GM.It's very possible that ZE goes "pro"after this season. It appears the "college" is just an obstacle for him in his pathway to the pros. The rationing (decided in advance # of carries, and potentially "overstating" injuries) of his play seems to be caused by a want to avoid injury so he can get to his big payday in the NFL.
Maybe that is his best plan for success so I can't dog him any.
scheiss him........... GP played into his hand and let him run the program. And scheiss GPLooking at the Old Miss box score there was no mention of Evans. Did a quick Google Search and didn't see anything about an injury.
My thoughts as well.I said last season I thought Miller was better. He is a man-beast.
My thoughts as well.
Evans is like the high end sports car that can’t ever get out of the garage or go over speed bumps.
Miller is some type of 4x4 from a Mad Max movie that has the same speed as a sports car and can drive through and over anything.
Who has more carries and receptions? Durability mattersEvans is avg 6.1 YP Carry and 10.5 YP reception
Judkins is avg 5.7 YP Carry and 10.1 YP reception
very similar stats but Evans is their best guy.
This report says Evans has a knee injury. https://www.si.com/college/olemiss/football/ole-miss-rebels-run-game-stalls-versus-lsu-tigers
