Not sure I follow. Why would ESPN really care whether Clemson makes the playoffs or not? You think Clemson has made the CFP all these years just because it was ESPN that wanted them there?

A question I have is what will the committee do with a team like Cincinnati. They remind me of our teams in the MWC, they have an experienced offense that does just enough to not shoot themselves in the foot, and a great defense. BUT, they haven't had any "prove it" non conference games. We have no idea if AAC teams are any good or not.
