Family and I went to see Quiet Place: Day One. Acting was phenomenal. Nyongo and Quinn (Eddie from Stranger Things) were amazing, but the cat stole the show...LOL Less of a "horror" genre and more of an action/monster flick, but the down time was worth every second. Some jump scares, but you gotta expect that from this series.

Highly recommend.

I gotta say, this looks average at best from the trailer. No one was asking for a sequel because the first one was so good. Pedro and Nielsen should be amazing as usual but the rest of the cast including Denzel, meh. I don’t have high hopes sadly.

You doubt Denzel?

What about weird or off - beat movies?
Forbidden Zone
Rubber
Eating Raoul
I saw Tommy, the very old original one, fairly recently. I think it would qualify to fit in this category. Super weird.
The original Mad Max is along those lines as well. The 1979 one that came before Road Warrior.
My son wanted to watch Rubber on his birthday about 6 months ago, so we all agreed to do so. Super weird movie.

If you like the strange, Gummo it is. Not for kiddos though.
