“A Horned Toad can tell you which way to go.”
*my gg-uncle is mentioned by name in this movie
What movie is this?
The Outlaw Josey Wales.
Never saw it.
Well then, speaking of great movie lines/scenes....
The fight scene in Giant. Bic Benedict gets his ace whooped by Sarge in the cafe in far West Texas.
Quick draw, [ hundin] slap scene: My Name is Trinity
Just about any number of scenes or lines from this movie is gold
“Boards don’t hit back” - Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon
Best line ever (imho), "When there's no more room in Hell, the dead will walk the earth." from "Dawn of the Dead" (1977)
Ballad of Buster Scruggs: The Saloon Scene
I think I saw that movie about a dozen times growing up and have been running zombie apocalypse scenarios ever since.
This movie was an absolute waste of 2 hours, and I am a big fan of the Coen Bros.
It was only a waste of two hours if you watched it that long. I didn’t get 15 minutes in. My hot take on the Coen bros is that they completely suck about half the time. I like their stuff only occasionally when an actor and a quirky role just click. Nicolas Cage in Raising Arizona, Francis McDormand and Willian H Macy in Fargo, John Turturro in Miller’s Crossing, and several people in both Oh Brother and Big Lebowski. They even managed to make me dislike a spy movie with Tom Hanks.
I liked the first "skit". The rest was garbage, didn't finish
I didn't see the movie, but I thought the scene was worthy of including in the thread,
