1. The KillerFrogs

Not a joke: You can now buy beer at TCU Baseball games

  1. Trying to get fair weather fans to come back.

  2. Hopefully this is a success and expands to football and basketball.

  3. Just a few years away from this being a normal thing across majority of college venues. Working on a research paper on this very topic as we speak.

    It might work.

When the Rangers played at Arlington Stadium, many fans would show up to drink beer and eat nachos watching many average Rangers teams.

Back in college, Rangers tickets, concessions and beer were very affordable when considering wages back then compared to the cost to attend a game. Fun atmosphere at an affordable price.

  6. I picked a bad week to quit drinking.

  7. So now when I kick people out of my reserved seats on Sundays after the bounce houses close for my kids, a drunken confrontation will ensue.

  16. Larger selection that I would have expected.

Among the beer available on tap: Bud Light, Miller Light, Michelob Ultra, Coors Light and multiple craft beer options.

Also, I wonder if this has been planned for a while, or if this was spur headed by Jeremiah after CDC left.

  17. Is this the first time that alcohol has been sold to the general public on the TCU Campus?
