Maybe we can get a group of us staying in the same area to come up with something.
I’m trying to track down the LA Metro C-line rail option. Our hotel is right next to the Redondo beach station. Then they run a shuttle bus from Sofi to the Hawthorne station. And westbound lines run until after midnight

We brought our infant to the Fiesta Bowl without a ticket. I was fairly confident the ticket taker wasn't going to demand a ticket for a freaking baby...
Interesting. You got lucky. The gate we went in, the ticket taker very aggressively made it known we weren't getting the baby in without a ticket, so in our case, I'm damn glad I had an extra one purchased.

Bought the baby a $450 nosebleed seat for the National Championship. Not going to risk it. I emailed ATOFrog and the official National Championship email and both stated all persons, regardless of age, will require a ticket.

Does anyone else's gofrogs CFP tickets say "mobile delivery delayed." Buddy of mine has tickets and his account says mobile delivery, but not delayed.

I tried to buy tickets to the TCU-BU game several years ago. The last game I saw in-person game was in 1978. Apparently, a BME, MA, MM and MD is not enough education to navigate through the TCU ticket purchasing process. I gave up. I didn't know what the hell they were talking about, and apparently was not quite interested enough to figure it out. At my age, I'll root for the natty from home, but I sure wish you all a great time.

GO FROGS!!!
If you can navigate an airport please join me this season for our home game against the Longhorns. Your ticket is on me.

Amen.

I originally booked my travel just for myself to meet up with a group of buddies and sit with them.

My wife, also a TCU grad, and I have a 4 month old baby that won't take a bottle and has to travel everywhere my wife goes.

We had already booked everything for the Fiesta bowl, but she initially decided if the frogs made it to the 'ship it would be too stressful to travel with a baby back to back weekends, not to mention babies require tickets for both the Fiesta Bowl and National Championship game (ridiculous, I know).

Anyway, about a week ago, well after all my travel and ticket were set for the potential game in LA, she came to me basically in tears and said the thought of potentially missing TCU play in the National Championship was making her sick to her stomach and that she had decided she had to be there no matter what.

Sharing the mindset you laid out in your post, I gave my wife a big ass hug and told her I'd make it happen.

I had to give up my $450 roundtrip JSX flight, and instead pay twice as much for us to switch to an american flight (JSX flights were sold out at this point). I found someone to buy the single ticket I had committed to with my group of buddies from TCU, and now we have 6 tickets together with 2 of my best friends and their wives, and I had to go buy an additional ticket to get the baby in the door (who btw has attended every game this season with me other than the Big 12 Championship game).

To say it hurt my wallet is an understatement, but to miss out on seeing TCU play in the national championship game with my wife and kid would have hurt way way way more.
We’re taking our baby too. She’s 24 and also requires a full ticket. So does her fiancé and I’m buying. I promised both I’d take them if we made it. Ouch! :p

We had another frog flake out after we agreed on price and everything. So we are back to the drawing board - anyone have 3 or 4 that are available?

How hard do you think it’ll be to get an Uber after the game back to Redondo? I imagine we will be going somewhere outside the stadium for at least an hour or two.
It will take time to get the uber from the stadium, but people will be getting ride shares from all over so you won't have an issue. It just takes time. My advice is to go over to the casino if the lines are too long and get the uber there. At least there is a bar inside the casino to wait around at (or gambling) to pass the time.

Discovered that SeatGeek has a model that adjusts the fees based upon your search history. Details here:

Tickets I was looking at on Seat Geek have come down about $300 each, from about $1,000 down to about $700. Similar on StubHub. Thinking about pulling the trigger now. Yes? No?

I’ve been watching too. It looks like more tickets have been added on since last night so I’m still waiting I think .
