Agree, they are a bunch of cut blocking little sobs. But have you seen what is out there in the AAC or MWC? A bunch of teams that draw 30k or less per game.I agree but I'm not so sure Patterson would relish having his star defensive players getting cut-blocked for one, two, or potentially three games in a given season by the academies anyway. I hate playing academy teams for that reason alone.
Plus, we'd have to listen to Patterson complain every year about how much time he's having to spend in Spring and Summer camps just getting his team ready to defend the vaunted option attack.
Patriotism aside, thanks but no thanks to being in a league with any of the academies. Nobody ever gets any credit for beating them anyway.

TX and OU lawyer already working on breaking the grant of rights agreement. Hope we can enforce it, but . . . . . .To stick it to Texas and OU the remaining 8 should make them stay until 2025. Also this buys some time to figure out the future of the big 12
Lol. “Joint statement” in burnt orange.
UT should relish the next few weeks. Soon, they will no longer be in control. That’s going to be a tougher pill for them to swallow than all the losing.
Don't be stupid here! I know everyone is panicking but OU/UT owe the other teams in the league close to 15 Million each to break away early. Don't break until you have their cash!
Sure but you orchestrate that thing under the table until you have UT/OUs moneyBut if the PAC12 sends an offer, take it immediately.

Another genius weighs in. The key is learning how to get paid to say stuff like this.

Sorry but if an offer comes you sign on the dotted line as fast as scheissing possible. The $16-20M you get from UT/OU leaving is pennies compared to how much you preserve (even just in the short term) going to another power [4] in lieu of relegation to a temporarily glorified AAC.
