not an insult. dude had the fact he is or claims to be a mensa member in his coaching bio. who the hell puts that detail into their bio other than someone who is incredibly self-impressed?
the same guy who posed for this cover.
the same guy who likes to tell the stories about how he and his wife had to struggle and survive on her salary when he was a grad assistant. compare those to gary's stories about coaching on the staff at cal davis
the same guy who was more than happy to tell everyone how much his new house in austin cost.
calling herman mensa isn't a matter of insulting him, but referring to his continued actions that illustrate just how freaking impressed he is with himself

I don’t buy that second one. No way he’d be that stupid as stupid as he already is. Plus, what outlet announces they are working on a story before releasing it? That just means others can pounce and beat you to the story. More likely it’s their way of starting a rumor to engineer clicks and more listeners.
