This had more to do with a bad game plan.

the frogs didn't stop uga from the start so this isn't on sonny putting the defense in bad situations

this defense has overachieved all season long and survived in a few games by pulling off a couple of stops a game

unfortunately, more talent in the lines and two nfl tight ends to expose issues in coverage at safety and linebacker kinda pop out on 14 games of tape and nothing the offense would have done is going to change that

ED should have had more than 6 or 7 carries in the first half. Our defense would not have gotten gassed so quick. You use the clock more.

You are right that we should have run more against a 2-deep safety scheme. However, if you want to grind & pound all game, tjen you have to be good on third down. We were awful on third down & then got way behind fast.

After that, it didn’t matter.

Okay…lose 49-7 or so. ED is not and never has been an every down workload back. Not a knock…that’s just not him.
