This thread still popping up to the top of this Frog forum with ten pages now, on Sanders. Some of you need to follow your passion and go work for the sordid National Enquirer or whatever new ignoble tabloids you like to follow.

Looks like what really keeps it going are those posts that have nothing to do with Shedder and his troubles.

LOL. The stories write themselves.

The way the entire team played in the Alamo Bowl should be reason enough not to retire both of their #s.

The fascinating thing about the article is that Darian Hagan, QB from the 90-91 championship team was one of only 2-3 D Sanders retained on the Staff as Director of Community Engagement.

Hagan & Jones are correct. CU should not now retire SSanders & Hunters numbers. I suspect Hagan being a QB that he thinks SSanders should never have his # retired

In 1989, after graduating from TCU, I had some HFrog friends who were from Colorado and returned to Denver and Steamboat. They had Season tickets and invited me to several games and after several invites in '89 , I decided to go up to Boulder in '90 and see their Game against Iowa State. I was so impressed I decided to use the rest of my vacay allowance to stay and see the game against OU 2 weeks later. Although the final score was something like 28to 23, CU Steamrolled OU. Toward the end of the game, I told several in our group of 8 that CU will win the NC. I wagered $ 50 with a couple people willing.

I returned to Ft. Worth and watched every CU game that was available. CU dominated the remaining games and went on to Win the NC against Notre Dame coached by Lou Holtz 10-9( ND had just one the NC in,88). This was impressive, because the year b4 Notre Dame beat CU something like 20-7 in the orange bowl. I attended the NC game at a gathering on TV with a group of 15 in Thornton and watched the nailbiter. My wager wins paid for most of my airfare.

This 1990 CU team could be a rough Blueprint with how to deal with the new landscape of college football. Yes, 35 years later. Bill McCartney had a Christian centered strategy on how to recruit rural and urban youth from Detroit, New Orleans, Houston, LA, Montana, Mississippi and other locales and it worked.

As it should be:

The Falcons previous statement that Jax "unintentionally" came across the number was dumb.
Tyler Warren TE Penn State & Mason Graham DT Michigan were prank called as well. Why isn't the NFL looking into this with the same fervor that they did with the SSanders situation???

Sheduer runs like a 4.8 forty. What other position could he be great at in the NFL?

I think there is this assumption with some that because he is Deion's son, he's a great athlete. He's not.....that was one of his biggest detriments heading into the draft....not a great athlete, not a great arm.
I have been thinking for the last couple years that it is beyond odd that SSanders does not have more of his Dad's athleticism aptitude/traits. Usually, great athletes or successful professional players seem to pass on to their sons/daughters speed, explosiveness, strong arm, hand eye coord. Not in this case.

I think Sheduer has plenty of hand eye coordination and I have no idea how strong of an arm Deion had. Maybe Sheduer’s mom was not athletic at all.

You are one odd dude.

Who is his mother bro?? How do you evaluate Hand Eye coordination? I do not have any tattoos so that drops me on the oddity scale. Never in my years have I been described as odd. Doesn't bother me if you want to call me odd. I'll remind you to what is the opposite of odd. Common-plain expected.

I figure through dead reckoning you love Supertramp you are very conventional, plain & like vanilla ice cream over rocky road or rum raisin.

Pilar was an athlete, including swimming and track. But I think that was only high school for one and not sure if it was in that early part of college or not. She has done the fitness trainer model thing since before she met Prime. She was a fairly well known to folks in the Flower Mound area. Kinda a sports version of that mom in LandMan.
She also has a black belt. (Although I'm not sure if that is why Prime called the cops on her that well known evening. There are stories).
I think she left SU early to do the whole modeling/acting thing.

5 pts for using rum raisin.
