Looks like it. I was giving my longhorn buddy ship a few weeks ago about how big the numbers are on their jersey. Seems like big numbers are now trending.

This is a terrible direction that Nike is going. They are also starting to use those ugly ass numbers in the NFL.

I’ve heard rumors that it’s for easier identification of players while watching on mobile/tablet devices.
